Mentorship Levels-Up Skills
These quotes came from participants in the Navigating Challenging Dialogue® Coaching in the Workplace workshop:
“It’s so rewarding to experience people making their own connections and coming up with their own solutions.”
“Learning how to take the time to be present and curious with my team made such a difference. I feel so much less burdened now that I know I don’t have to come up with all the answers myself.”
Coaching is one of the most valuable tools for anyone to have in the workplace.
The curiosity, courage, presence, and vulnerability that coaching (and being coached) entails increases trust and empathy while building relationships.
Coaching helps with retention.
People feel empowered to use their unique strengths, talents, and experience to actively contribute to innovation and solving complex problems that move the organization forward.
Make coaching a part of workplace culture.
One or two people coaching often isn’t enough to significantly improve or shift an entire workplace culture. To normalize coaching in the workplace, you need to commit to coaching as an expectation, behavior, and communication norm. In other words, coaching becomes one of the tools your leaders and managers use to do their work!
The Navigating Challenging Dialogue Approach to Coaching builds upon the foundational tools of NCD and brings them forward through our unique and highly effective NCD Coaching Framework.
“As I practiced coaching with other participants in the class, I became aware of the universality of the kinds of challenges and issues we were all dealing with.”
Coaching culture bolsters organizational health.
When you build a coaching culture where peers, leaders, and supervisors are engaged with curiosity and listen deeply to each other, they begin to find common ground and develop empathy. Cross-departmental teams who previously fought over resources or power now begin to see how they are all connected and working toward the same goals.
To support organizations who are ready to benefit from the collaboration, trust, and unity created by a coaching culture, I am now offering a limited-enrollment mentorship program.
Mentorship is for leaders leveling up their coaching skills.
This program is specifically for individuals who are coaching now or adding coaching into their leadership toolbox. Participants will work directly with me over a 4-month period to build on their coaching skills, get guidance on challenges and issues, receive feedback and support, and get help normalizing coaching within their team and with their colleagues.
Coaching is the future of workplace success.
