I’m Beth Wonson, the founder of Navigating Challenging Dialogue®.
Navigating Challenging Dialogue is a proven formula for fact-based dialogue, even when communication feels risky.
Since 2010, I’ve put my experience and skills to work helping thousands of people from hundreds of organizations. My training is as a leadership consultant, coach, communication expert, and speaker.
There’s an urgent need to have high-stakes conversations in healthy ways, even with people we don’t agree with.
Everyday I see people who want to be positive contributors at work, but whose work culture makes healthy communication difficult. Or who struggle with having tough conversations where they feel the stakes are high (either at home or work).
So many people unintentionally cause drama and unhealthy conflict because they were never taught critical fact-based communication skills and emotional self-leadership.
I have a proven process for dealing with tricky communication and conflict.
Early in my career, I got fed up with all the time I wasted clearing up my miscommunications. Through research and practice, I created Navigating Challenging Dialogue® (NCD). Using NCD and following my 4-step framework not only made me a better communicator, it improved all of my relationships.
Now, Fortune 500s, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and schools use the tools and strategies of NCD to become communicators who empower others through meaningful, drama-free conversations. NCD is a proven tool for improving culture, clarity, and retention in organizations.
More importantly, my client work has proven that practicing NCD makes it easier to build trust, which is critical for healthy relationships and successful organizations.
