Leadership for the New Year! Monday evening in San Luis Obispo

Softec's TechBrew Meeting Happens Monday, December 8th Topic: "Leadership for the New Year." We all can think of at least one person whose content knowledge and skills are unmatched. However, despite their title of "leader," their interpersonal skills and communication styles actually break down trust, inhibit motivation, and ultimately cost the organization time and money because of staff turnover and morale issues. Management’s dilemma is that an employee is too valuable to fire but puts the organization at risk for grievances, law suits, and stress claims. Beth Wonson will share with us some of her secrets as a leadership coach and team development expert who turns bullying leaders into transformational leaders. The good news is that regardless of your current role or leadership capacity, you will leave with some simple strategies you can implement now that will help you be a leader who builds trust, empowers teams, and motivates staff and co-workers. Speaker: Beth Wonson has been consulting in businesses, nonprofits, and business leaders for years. Her personal experience, warm personality, and interest in horses combine to make her sessions memorable and effective for teams of any size. Attendees learn, create unforgettable memories, and leave with valuable tools to continue to improve communication.
